Hp TouchSmart Review

Hewett Packard has come a long way with their all in one touch smart desktops, from their business line, to their home desktop series. Even till this day people never knew you could actually touch the screen while working on your personal computer from home.  If you work in retail this would not be the case or so foreign to you in that sense pretty much everything is automatic with these kinds of computers.

With a touch of your finger or just any object will do, and out comes a receipt. No big deal right? Well as we take this kind of technology for granted at times our friends at Hp and Miccrosoft have been at work with these machines since January of 2007 believe it or not.

The first ever touch smart came out in January of 2007. It was called The Hp Touch Smart IQ770

Just some key features it came with. Going down memory lane.

.  AMD Tuion 64 x2 Dual-Core TL-52
.  Microsoft Windows Vista Premium
. 2048MB DDR2 SDRAM system memory
.  320 GB hard drive
.  19 ‘’ inch screen monitor

Just by looking at these specks compared to computers these days kind of makes them obsolete. Well let’s not just stop here will still have a lot to cover.
In June of 2008 Hp came out with it’s 2nd series roll out of its touch smart and called it Hp touch smart IQ500. In this series it looked like the really emphasized the sleek sophisticated look.

Some features:

.  Intel Dual–Core 2
.  500 GB Disk Drive
.  22’’ inch screen monitor
. 256MB NVIDIA GeForce 9300 M HS HD Graphics
.  802.11N WIFI

In the same year Hp rolled out the Hp Touch Smart IQ800. The difference with this one was a bigger screen 22.5 inch to be exact.

.  TV Tuner with Remote
.  Integrate Webcam
.  Bluetooth
. Ambient light for the wireless keyboard
.  HP Pocket Media Bay

If you wanted to up grade your next choice would have been the Hp Touch Smart IQ816 with a choice of 640Gb or 1TB drives.

In October 2009 Hp introduced us with 2 Hp Touch Smart series the 300 and the 600 both had subs if you wanted to upgrade, like for the 300 you could upgrade to the 310, 610 with the new 4.0 software.

In  the same year the Hp Touch Smart 9100 came out similar to the 600 but more geared for business to give their customers more of an interaction for the products they were selling on the retail floor. Instead of physically searching for what they were looking for. All they needed to do was find one of the 9100’s and see what the store had to offer.

Some medical offices use it like a kiosk. It would sit in the corner where patients could check in for their appointment they had for that day.

Some of Hp Touch Smart series are not in production anymore but diffidently they could still be found on the internet. Just some that are production are:

.  320
. 420
. 520Z
. 610
. 610 XP
. 620 3D
. 610 XT
